Dale Bernstein Law Protects Families In Hernando County
As a professional Hernando County Family Law Attorney, I’ve been lucky to work with families just like yours as they move through a wide spectrum of family matters. It’s a privilege to share a family’s highest moments, and a duty to be there for them when things go awry.
Regardless of your situation or circumstances, my focus is on you, your family, and achieving the best results possible that make your family whole, secure, and safe.
Family Law is a specialty that covers a lot of ground, but here are some of the more common practice areas I help with in Hernando County. When you have a Family Law matter to address, please call Dale Bernstein Law at (727) 478-3250 for a consultation with Hernando County’s Family Law expert.
Divorce: I’ve helped numerous Floridians in Hernando County when their marriages have reached an end. Whether your split is amicable or ugly, I’ve seen it all and gotten good settlements for my clients in all kinds of circumstances.
Paternity: Fatherhood is a real joy, but it’s also a responsibility that is sometimes unfairly placed on a person. If you have doubts about paternity, you need good representation.
Child Support: Responsibility for one’s children never ends at a divorce – for either party. I make sure my clients are part of productive, fair child support agreements that protect their best interests – and the best interests of their children.
Child Custody Issues: When couples divorce, the best interests of the child have a compelling weight in the court’s decisions around custody issues. I fight for all of my clients to retain an active parental role in the lives of their children.
Cohabitation Agreements: Some couples prefer not to marry – or are legally barred from the institution. That doesn’t mean these couples don’t have the same concerns around assets, parenting, and other family situations as any other.
Modification of Agreements: Even with the best of intentions, sometimes a party can no longer meet the terms of an earlier agreement, or the agreement no longer fits the needs of the family. Through job loss, remarriage, or other situations, I negotiate appropriate, fair modifications.
Contempt of Agreements: If your former spouse is stonewalling or otherwise failing to live up to the terms of your agreements, it’s important to take action to protect yourself and your children.
Visitation: Children do best when both parents play an active role in their lives, and to that end, I work to help mothers and fathers gain and keep visitation rights to their children.
Restraining Orders: If your ex-spouse or partner has made threats against you or your children, it’s vital that you take every precaution to keep your family safe. I will seek emergency relief from the courts, and pursue criminal charges if needed.
GLBT Family Law: As an attorney, I find the evolving landscape around GLBT families exciting. But for my clients, a landscape that’s always shifting leaves them confused about the best ways to protect themselves, assets, children, and more. I can help.
